The log
What we have observed, with dates
Each entry says what we observed, on what date, and which of the three parties it concerns. Anything we could not verify from a page we had read ourselves is not in this list.
| Checked | Concerns | What changed |
|---|---|---|
| 2026-10-09 | CN | Every policy and tutorial page moved to a new address All eighteen content pages now sit under a /best-taobao-agent-service/ prefix. The previous addresses return 404 with no redirect, so every link written before this change is dead, including those in older guides. We re-harvested the whole set from the live navigation rather than guessing the new paths. Both capitalisations of one directory name are in use in the official navigation itself. |
| 2026-10-09 | CN | Two official pages found contradicting each other The prohibited items page treats mains-powered consumer electronics as generally acceptable without lithium batteries. The parcel submission page refuses computers, laptops and phones outright. Separately, the cost calculator offers Brands as a declarable attribute while the prohibited items page bans counterfeits, which are two different things treated in two different places. Both pairs are quoted on this site rather than resolved. |
| 2026-10-09 | CN | The prohibited items page is argued entirely from US law It cites the US Fish and Wildlife Service, the DEA's Controlled Substances Act, the Commerce Control List and the FDA, and refers to what is legal for export from the US, while the operating companies are in Hong Kong and Guangzhou and parcels leave from China. A heading on the same page still contains a typo. Neither of these is new as of this month; they are recorded here because no previous guide to this agent appears to have mentioned them. |
| 2026-10-09 | DE | Two separate review profiles found for the same company An older domain for this company redirects to the current site, and each domain has its own unclaimed profile on the same review platform, scoring 3.3 from eleven reviews and 4.1 from five. The platform prints its own caveat that the company has never solicited reviews. Sixteen reviews across two profiles is why this site does not use a score to judge the agent. |
Stable
The figures that did not move
Equally worth recording: the figures did not move. Every number quoted on this site was checked against the live pages in October 2026 and matched what the same pages said in August.
- Free storage is still 120 days, stated twice on its page.
- Insurance is still offered at 2% and 4%, and the five-row payout table still reads 100, 33, 50, 33 and 33 for the basic level.
- Support hours are still 9:30 to 20:30, Monday to Saturday.
- The published contact address and community channel are unchanged.
- Counterfeit goods are still on the prohibited list.
So the terms themselves look stable, and it is the addresses they live at that proved unstable. That is a useful thing to know about a company: the policies are not being quietly rewritten, but the site around them is maintained loosely enough that links break without anyone noticing.
Method
How this record is kept
Three things keep this page honest, and they are worth stating because the whole site argues that you should judge a guide on whether it is maintained.
We distinguish the operator’s recorded terms from practical guidance. Read the linked official page for the current wording, and report a discrepancy with the page address and the sentence in question.
Paths are harvested, never guessed. The eighteen official addresses were read out of the live navigation. Guessing the new prefix would have been quicker and would have produced plausible links that happened to 404.
Gaps are stated as gaps. Where Basetao publishes nothing, this site says so rather than filling in. There is no published exchange rate, no per-country import rule, and no stated consequence for declaring an item magnetic. Each of those is marked as unpublished where it comes up.

Every figure and quotation on this site: checked October 2026. Basetao can change any of it without notice, and in 2026 it moved all of it without redirects, so re-read the official page on the day you order.
Official announcements and community feedback
11 October 2026: no currently active promotion or independently verified, dated community parcel case was confirmed in this review. Check the official account notices and campaign terms before timing a purchase around an offer.
The review-profile discussion in the agent guide describes a small historical sample. It is not a current rating or a verified delivery outcome for your destination.
